Coming to you today from behind a pile of paper that needs to be shredded but I can’t quite get around to shredding. I may be suffering from situational aboulomania.

Being in a place where circumstances prevent you from being able to make a decision.

Ah. I hear you. Like, if I have the choice of working on a project that has a deadline looming or writing the next bestseller or developing an action plan to save the world, I will instead spend the evening re-potting house plants.

I feel like this is a common Feisty Chicks condition. At least for Feisty Chicks of a certain age.

Bast
Sure – because many of us find ourselves putting our lives on hold – let’s say, hypothetically, to care for aging parents.

Or kids …

Or partners …

What’s a FC to do?

Bast
Maybe we need a communal vehicle for considering options and making decisions. So we throw our situations out there and have other FCs weigh in on what we should do.

Cooch
Oooooh. I like this. Don’t the Quakers do something like that? Seek wisdom from the group?

Crowd-sourcing decision-making for Feisty Chicks. We could call it Feisty Communal Coaching.
